Summer turns to Fall
Lawnmower Boy Woods By the end of summer, Joey was not only walking, but pushing his lawnmower to help Phil with the yard work. We also enjoy taking walks in the woods behind our house. Once the leaves start changing, the colors are beautiful, and there is quite a bit of wildlife, including deer and even a few wild turkeys to see. The girls have taken to watching birds out our back window with their toy binoculars, and Cindy bought a book on Minnesota birds to help them identify the ones they see.
First days of School
Annie School Shelby School Joey School School started in September for the kids. Annie is in Kindergarten this year at Saint John's Catholic School, and goes in the morning. Shelby started at Sunshine Nursery School, and goes two mornings per week. Phil went with her on her first day, September 11th. Even Joey goes to school, attending an Early Childhood and Family Education class once a week with Cindy.
Halloween and Thanksgiving
Halloween Parachute For Halloween this year, the kids were clowns, and even Joey joined in with a new costume that Cindy made. I'm sure he had no idea why these strangers were putting candy into his bucket. For Thanksgiving, we all went to Grandpa Norman's farm, where our kids have fun exploring the outdoors. We had our big family gathering at the Saint Kilian School. Cindy brought along a parachute, which makes a great activity for all the cousins.
